1802 "In-Line" Eductors for Emergency Drainage & Drafting
for Fire Boats & Offshore Supply Vessels
Deck Mounted Fixed Eductors & Ejectors are powered by the high pressure fire main and provide auxiliary stand-by high suction flow. A lightweight non collapsible suction hose is lowered into foundering vessels during firefighting operations to prevent flooding. High suction flow will delay or prevent a vessel from sinking and increase time for lifesaving operations. VM Eductors can be used with or without suction strainers.
VM 1802 Series Eductors have flanged end connections. A quick connect or NST threaded connection can be supplied for FIFI operations.
Materials of Construction
Body & Diffuser: Bronze ASTM B62 or B958 (or Aluminum)
Nozzle: Monel or 316 Stainless Steel
Lining: Optional – 316 Stainless Steel, Tungsten Carbide
Connections: All Flanges 150 lb. ANSI B16.24 FF, or DIN/JIS
