VM Portable Ejectors & Eductors for regular and emergency pumping of tanks & holds. Ejectors are driven by water from the vessel fire main or by the same liquid that is being pumped.
VM Portable Ejectors & Eductors are sold separately or in complete kits containing driving pressure, suction & discharge hoses, fittings, a spare nozzle and check valve. Complete kits are known as TYGER EDUCTOR KITS and can be viewed on the VM TYGER page.

Operation:
Eductors are lowered into the space to be pumped out. Or, the eductor can be used with a length of suction hose so that only the suction hose is put into the liquid that is being pumped out. A check valve can be used to prevent back flow when pressure is closed. A Ball valve can be provided for on-off control during manned in tank operation. A suction strainer can be provided to filter out debris.
VM Portable eductors and ejectors are used on board tankers, bulk carriers, chemical carriers, oil rigs, Naval vessels, and all vessels types. These portable ejectors are used to remove liquids from tanks, sumps, pits and cargo & ballast spaces. Eductors are a hand auxiliary pump always ready and on hand for emergency and routine pumping jobs.
